Takayuki Kano
CEO, NLDSL
Takayuki Kano is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NICDC Logistics Data Services Limited (NLDSL), appointed in July 2025. He brings with him over 35 years of global leadership experience across multiple roles, divisions and regions within NEC Corporation.
Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership positions across Asia, including stints in Thailand, India, Indonesia and Vietnam. From 1994 to 1999, he was the Representative of NEC’s Bangkok office, following which he served as Deputy Managing Director at NEC India Pvt. Ltd. from 2008 to 2011. He also held the role of Deputy General Manager for the Greater China and APAC Division in NEC’s Global Business Unit.
Between 2013 and 2016, he was the President Director of NEC Indonesia, where he focused on expanding NEC’s regional presence and business integration. From 2016 to 2020, he simultaneously led as Deputy CEO for the APAC (Mekong Sub Region) and President of NEC Corporation (Thailand) Ltd. During 2019–2020, he also held additional responsibility as General Director of NEC Vietnam Ltd.
He is known for his deep understanding of business operations across diverse markets and has been instrumental in leading transformation initiatives, driving growth, and building strong cross-border teams. His extensive experience in handling complex business environments makes him well-positioned as the NLDSL leader.
