NICDC Logistics Data Services Ltd was incorporated on 30th December, 2015 as a joint venture company between DMIC Project Implementation Trust Fund (DMIC Trust) & NEC Corporation, Japan with 50% equity from both parties.

DMIC Project Implementation Trust Fund (DMIC Trust)

The DMIC Trust has been constituted by the Government of India under the Board of Trustees headed by Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs and Secretary, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion; Secretary, Planning Commission (now CEO, NITI Aayog); Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion; Joint Secretary, Department of Expenditure and Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation as members of the Trust.

  • The major responsibilities of the DMIC Trust include: 
  • Management & disbursement of the total corpus of Rs 18,500 crore provided by the Government of India for project development activities and implementation of the industrial cities.

  • Regular monitoring of the projects being implemented and the utilization of funds sanctioned

  • Holding equity on behalf of the Government of India, in the node/city level Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), project specific SPVs and sector specific holding companies.

  • Finalization and approval of the financial structuring for new cities and projects

  • Leverage resources provided by Government of India to raise long term funding from financial institutions, raise tax free bonds, capital gains bonds, credit enhancement etc.
