NICDC Logistics Data Services Ltd was incorporated on 30th December 2015 as a joint venture Company between National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (formerly DMIC Trust) & NEC Corporation, Japan with 50% equity from both parties.
NICDIT (formerly known as DMIC Trust)
After the inception of Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) in 2007, a trust fund was set up in the name of DMIC Trust fund to carry out the project development and implementation activities. Further, in December 2016, the mandate of DMIC Trust was expanded to include other industrial corridors across India, and the DMIC Trust was renamed as National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT).

The major responsibilities of the DMIC Trust include:

Management & disbursement of the total corpus of Rs 18,500 crore provided by the Government of India for project development activities and implementation of the industrial cities.

Regular monitoring of the projects being implemented and the utilization of funds sanctioned

Holding equity on behalf of the Government of India, in the node/city level Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), project specific SPVs and sector specific holding companies.

Finalization and approval of the financial structuring for new cities and projects

Leverage resources provided by Government of India to raise long term funding from financial institutions, raise tax free bonds, capital gains bonds, credit enhancement etc.
